Founded in 1968 by Raymond and Floyd Schultz, Kingsford Broach & Tool, Inc. is a third-generation, family-owned manufacturer proudly based in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. For more than five decades, the company has built its reputation on precision craftsmanship, strong ethical values, and lasting relationships with employees, customers, and suppliers.
From 1968 through 2015, the company operated out of a historic facility once connected to the Ford Motor Company and later home to Kingsford Charcoal. After years of renovation and expansion, the company invested in a new 37,000-square-foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, which opened in 2015.
Today, President Dominic Schultz represents the third generation of family leadership, continuing the same commitment to innovation, quality, and family values that have defined Kingsford Broach & Tool for generations.
